It’s done. The EEA (Expert Assessor and Insurance) Certification is obtained.
Set up under the impulse of the Federation of Nautical Industries and Insurers of the profession, this official certification constitutes a real control of knowledge and ensures the continuous training of the Marine Experts through regular audits.
Written tests had already been held. After years of using a computer, it is not easy to take the pen and the large sheets of paper again for a 4-hour test, a bit like at the baccalaureate.
Then it was not very easy either to find oneself in front of a jury of about fifteen people, half of fellow Experts and half of representatives of all the major Insurance Companies.
For 45 minutes the questions are numerous, rather pointed and obviously precise and concise answers are expected.
There was still a week of waiting for the results …
